The Person Behind the Practice
Mejaz-Ul-Haque is a behavioral strategist, systems consultant, and founder of Himmat Advocates a Massachusetts-based consulting firm built at the intersection of psychology, advocacy, and organizational transformation.
His work is rooted in a decade of lived experience across India studying psychology at Jamia Millia Islamia, leading nationally recognized student activism, and traveling extensively across cultures before returning to the United States to serve as a primary caregiver and frontline advocate while building a career in financial services and systems reform.
With professional experience spanning American Express, Digital Federal Credit Union, and Compass Working Capital Mejaz brings a rare combination of institutional knowledge, trauma-informed methodology, and on-the-ground advocacy into every engagement.
He doesn’t consult from the outside looking in. He has lived the systems he now helps redesign.
